Nuts Huts

The Nuts Huts has been open on Bohol Island and practices sustainable
 tourism for more than 20 years. It has been built in the heart of a 
tropical forest by a river side . You can reach it by boat or by a very 
steep path.You can stay in bungalows scattered on the ground. There are dormitories, or double rooms or family rooms with private bathroom.On site you can enjoy soft activities as kayaking, swimming in the river or hiking.

Moalboal Eco Lodge is located in a quiet area only 10 minutes from the city center.The
 green hotel is composed of bungalows for 2 people, and shared 
dormitories for 4 people. They each have a covered terrace, and an 
outdoor shower. They are designed so as the air goes throw naturally and
 thus no need air conditioning.As soon as you arrive, you will be given a free refillable bottle, as well as a tote bag to avoid shopping plastic bags.To save water consumption, a wastewater and rainwater recovery system has also been set up.The hotel also has a zero-waste shop for, as an example, replenishment of y our toilet bag.

A project committed to 

Behind this project to make sustainable tourism accessible to all is my partner Clément and me, Anne. We are 2 travelers thirsty of discoveries who try to reduce our ecological impact in our daily life and during our travels. It is in this paradisiacal setting that we realized that our best travel memories are almost always linked to eco-responsible accommodations, held by committed hosts who share our values. Only, they are not so easy to find!

The idea of this platform was born on a beach in Cambodia, in the middle of January, under the sun of South East Asia.
