Le Moulin de Bel Air, a gîte in Pays de la Loire

A large gîte with a private room

Enter through the original tower of the mill where buckwheat flour was prepared and stay in the gite located in the milling house of the mill, which was used to grind wheat flour.

Rent the whole gite for a big weekend for 6/8 people in comfort mode or up to 12 for tribes.

The gite is located on the second floor and has 4 sleeping areas :

• The Minoterie Bleue room for 2 to 3 people, with its private bathroom;

• The Minoterie Jaune room for 2 to 5 people;

• The Tower Library with a double sofa bed;

• The Grand Salon with 2 single beds.

A large bathroom with Italian shower is also available.

For events, and 3-day rentals, a room with an independent entrance, a double bed and a private bathroom can be added on the ground floor, bringing the capacity to 14 people capacity to 14.

During the week and outside of school vacations, you can reserve a single room in the guest room formula.

A place to relax and meet

The Moulin de Bel Air has a large private garden of 1000 m² with a view on the Melleray abbey, near the Nantes-Brest canal. Enjoy the panorama on the surrounding countryside, the barbecue and the brazier at your leisure. A ping-pong table and outdoor games promise you pleasant convivial moments with your friends and family during your stay.

A bicycle area is at your disposal. The owners can come and pick you up in Nort-sur-Erdre and provide you with a bike or offer you a bike rental on site.

A sauna and a fitness room adapted to the practice of yoga or pilates are at your disposal to relax and recharge your batteries at the Moulin de Bel Air.

Finally, to celebrate an intimate wedding, a family reunion or a birthday with your loved ones, the accommodation offers a reception room for rent, the Atelier. Located in the park near the mill, with a surface area of 50 m², it has a lounge/bar area "La Loge" of 25 m² with a kitchenette, as well as dry toilets: it can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Visit Nantes

Located not far from the Moulin de Bel Air, explore the creative and innovative city of Nantes. Discover in particular :

• The Machines de l'île, a beautiful alliance of poetry and engineering. Admire the Great Elephant coming to life and wandering around before your astonished eyes and visit the interior of the gallery which is full of mechanical creations;

• The Dukes of Brittany castle. Symbol of the city and of medieval Brittany, this beautiful building houses the Nantes History Museum;

• The island of Versailles. This immense Japanese garden in the heart of the city is a pleasant green lung in Nantes with a resolutely Zen atmosphere.

To reach the beaches of the Côte de Jade or Noirmoutier, count on a one and a half hour drive from the Moulin de Bel Air.

Enjoy the fresh air

The mill is located in a preserved Natura 2000 area. By sailboat, on foot or by bike, discover the Loire and its wonderful villages or the Erdre and its canals. Take advantage of the nautical base of Vioreau or walk through the ornithological reserve of the pond of La Provostière. Treat yourself to a workshop to discover wild plants or simply take the time to rest!
