Ecolodge Bab el Oued Maroc

The Bab El Oued ecolodge is located between Ouarzazate and Zagora, specifically in the Biosphere Reserve Oasis of Southern Morocco. This reserve has been recognized as World Heritage by Unesco. The accommodation is on a 5000 m² lush ground with a 2 hectares organic farm. The farm products are used by the restaurant. You can stay in one of the 7 lodges. Each has a double bed and its own bathroom. On site you can enjoy the swimming pool, or discover the region. The owners can give you all precisions to hike in the surroundings or lend you bikes.

A project committed to 

Behind this project to make sustainable tourism accessible to all is my partner Clément and me, Anne. We are 2 travelers thirsty of discoveries who try to reduce our ecological impact in our daily life and during our travels. It is in this paradisiacal setting that we realized that our best travel memories are almost always linked to eco-responsible accommodations, held by committed hosts who share our values. Only, they are not so easy to find!

The idea of this platform was born on a beach in Cambodia, in the middle of January, under the sun of South East Asia.

For me, it's much more than just a directory. It is also a way to give meaning to my professional life and to align my work with my values. I am fulfilled on a daily basis while doing my part to create a better world for tomorrow. When the Covid crisis happened, I had doubts. Installed in right in the center of Biarritz, the Hôtel Littéraire Jules Verne awaits you for a memorable ecological seminar by the ocean. As its name suggests, the tourist establishment offers you an immersion in the universe of the author Jules Verne, through the decoration and the little attentions. The hotel, labeled Clef Verte and completely renovated in 2021, offers 77 comfortable rooms and pleasant. A co-working space, a fitness room and a heated outdoor swimming pool also await your employees.
