• The Zatar Suite. Ideal for a couple's stay, enjoy a small lounge area and a cozy and intimate terrace in the heart of the garden vegetation with a view of the pool.

• The Superior Suites Saffron or Yasmine. These 2 spacious accommodations each offer their own particular atmosphere and are built on stilts. A large terrace of 15 m² awaits you.

• Triple Chibah Lodge. This accommodation has 3 single beds and is ideal for a stay with friends. Shimmering colors await you inside and a large terrace in the shade of the vine outside.

• The Family Suite Nafaa. Designed for 4 people, enjoy its 40 m² in a colonial style with an unobstructed view of the mountain, the old kasbahs and the citrus garden.

• The ascent to the day of Jbel Kissane, the highest point of the surroundings at 1600 meters of altitude;

• The circuit of the caravan road. Go for a real adventure: 130 km on foot in 4 days of walking between the palm grove and the mountains;

Lodges with ecological design from A to Z

Nature tourism and agritourism are the key words of Bab El Oued. More than a simple vacation, discover a new way of traveling: at a slow pace, enjoying the present moment and the small pleasures of life.

Created by Mathilde and Zine, the development of the ecolodge took 3 years with the help of a 100% local team. This is how Bab El Oued was born: a set of bioclimatic dwellings made of pisé, a raw earth construction method, inspired by traditional Kasbahs. The bricks used for the construction were made on site with earth from the garden.

The existing trees were preserved and new plants were planted, with an emphasis on regional species: eucalyptus, oleanders, tamarisk and many others. The exterior became an "Experimental Conservation Garden" with sustainable oasis cultivation using permaculture principles. Beehives have been installed to reintroduce and participate in the repopulation of the Saharan bee, an endangered species.
