5 questions to Béatrice BELLINI
Béatrice Bellini is a lecturer in management science at the University of Paris Nanterre. She is also the director of the “Positive business” Chair whose objective is to integrate environmental and social issues into the fundamentals of marketing. She allowed me to participate in a conference on positive tourism during the Latin America and Caribbean week in early June 2021.
Can you introduce yourself and tell us what travel means to you?
I am a lecturer in management science at the University of Paris Nanterre and I manage the Positive Business Chair, whose objective is to change the practices and teaching of management fundamentals to include social and environmental issues. The dedicated departments do not allow for integration and valorisation directly at the level of the offer.
The journey for me is about encounters.
What was the trip that made the biggest impression on you? Why or why not?
A trip to Vietnam where, in a somewhat forced way, I approached the local culture in a slow way.
How do you see post-Covid tourism?
Less long-distance travel and more human interaction.
What is your next holiday destination?
Reims.
Do you have a book to recommend that we could put in our suitcase this summer?
« Mon directeur marketing sera un algoryhtme » by Stéphane Amarsy.
