Who doesn’t know the Bestjobers? They had the chance to occupy the Best Job in the World in 2013 in Australia. Upon their return to France they decided to continue living their dream of travel and photography. They became content creators and travel influencers with the success they are known for and, among other things, 130 000 followers on Instagram. So I am more than happy and touched that they accepted to answer my 5 questions.
Can you introduce yourself and tell us what travel means to you?
We are Elisa & Max, a couple eager for adventure. In 2013, we won the Best Job in The World among 330 000 candidates from all over the world. An incredible experience that made us discover Australia during 1 year. Since then, we travel the world and France to share our favorites and tips for responsible travel.
Travelling is a breath of fresh air, a real drug for us. An open-mindedness and a source of inexhaustible personal enrichment with the meeting of other cultures.
What is the trip that made the biggest impression on you? Why did it happen?
Impossible to answer. Each country has left us strong memories. Australia will certainly remain a special trip as we had strong and unique experiences during the Best Job in the World for one year. But India, Mexico or Canada are some of the countries we particularly appreciate and where we never get tired of going.
How do you see post-Covid tourism?
A generalized return to nature, wide open spaces, simple things and a need to de-seasonalize travel to spread out the population flows.
The realization that you don’t necessarily have to go far to get away from it all and experience an adventure.
What is your next vacation destination?
Our beautiful France! The next few months will be in France and a beautiful diversity of environments awaits us.
